Nicholson Round Plane

Nicholson was believed to be the first American planemaker to mark his planes. He was the father of another famous plane maker, John Nicholson, and owned a slave who ended up also making planes and became famous in his own right, Cesar Chelor. This plane was made between 1728-1753.  A plane with great historical significance.
