Most of the tools shown on this site are antiques, with patents. After all, this is the type of tool the site was created to display. However, there are a few scattered individuals dedicated to continuing the craft of producing hand tools, whose tools are on aesthetic and functional par with the old masters. This page shows a few of these wonderful tools. Many are one of a kind, but some makers do produce very limited numbers. Their work is beautiful and their attention to detail often means these tools perform as well or better than their antique inspirations.
