There are really just two things to do on this web site -- view the beautiful tool images (and maybe learn a little about these antique tools), and submit a tool of your own for inclusion on the site.

• To view tools, click on one of the navigation buttons you see at the top of every page -- for example: Planes, Rules, Levels, Treadles (treadle machines), Moderns, and Others. Once you are at the tool page, you can page through the list of that type of tool using the page numbers at the bottom right hand corner of the tool table (you should see the little numbers such as 1,2,3,...). On all tool pages, you can sort each column by clicking the column heading once or twice.
• If you would like to submit your tool for inclusion on this site, visit my submission page to fill out the submission form and get more information. Again, remember you can always contact me if you're having trouble.

I appreciate all feedback about this site, positive or negative. It was a labor of love to build the site, and I'm glad to be of assistance to those learning about antique tools. However, I am already swamped with work, and cannot answer requests for appraisals and value. I apologize to those who think I should be at their beck and call 24x7 to perform this type of work for free.
