This site is intended to create a virtual catalogue of the most spectacular American
patented tools. Most of the tools shown here are in the collections of the world's
leading tool museums and private collections. Some of the best tools may
also be in YOUR collection, and I'd like to invite you to send me your tool information
if you'd like one or more of your tools to be included on this site. Inclusion
of your tool is strictly voluntary and it is up to you to photograph and
describe your tool as you want it to appear. You may also decide whether or not to
list your tool as being for sale. I receive no commission or other fee for this, but
I do require that you grant me permission to continue to display your tool and
it's description as I see fit for the duration of this web site so this site can serve
as a historical reference to the world's greatest American tools.
How Can You Help?
-
If you would like to submit your tool for inclusion on this site, visit my submission
page to fill out the submission form and get more information.
-
If you have additional historical information about a tool shown on this site, you
can email me with your comments and I can
add to the tool's description. Examples of this may be better type information, more
detailed patent information, or more accurate construction or model information.
Thank you for contributing to this site and helping to establish the world's best
repository of antique tool information!
